Niamh O'ReillyNadia Seaver Nicola Halloran
A freelance writer and veteran blogger by trade, Niamh O’Reilly is a self-confessed dog-mad, shoe-obsessed, movie-buff. Up until her son arrived in 2016, she’d never changed a nappy, made a bottle, put on a onesie or even held a baby for more than five minutes without it unleashing what she now likes to call ‘the death roar.’ It’s been a momentous change in her life and she’s now trying to navigate this brand new world of motherhood with honesty, grace, love and humour, over on her blog, which funnily enough is called TheMammyblog.ie. Within just seven months of setting it up, she was shortlisted for the Best Parenting Blog at the Irish Blog Awards and for Best in Blogging at the prestigious Eir Spiders 2017. It’s not the first time she found herself shortlisted for the Oscars of the web world however, as back in 2009 she made it to the final stages of the Eir Spiders with her online magazine Beautycouture.ie. With over 15 years’ experience of published work behind her in both print and online, Niamh is now concentrating on bringing her refreshingly honest and often hilarious take on motherhood to the masses.
